2luto to Social networking to Everycrave

This is a post that is long due. I am a little chauvinistic, believing that we are creating the BEST DAMN real life Social network, called Everycrave.To brand it as a Social network itself, is a little shallow, since it is more of a personal Affiliate Network, more than just terming them as "Friends"

Also a case in point.That if life was a little easier on me while we had the 2luto idea about 4 years ago, if i had studied computer science, and not explored other industries like personal computers(DELL), Insurance(Aviva),Leadership training(Tycoons), networking, and later hardcore real estate(Sobha developers) and my latest gig at keystone, in the infrastructure space, there would be no INDUSTRY CALLED SOCIAL NETWORKING.

Anyways, bygones are bygones. Great now to have a team that is so committed to this cause, of changing the word PC(personal computer) to Personal cloud.

Here is also a little presentation, by one Mr Paul Adams, an Ex googler, who will join Facebook in January.

This presentation to me seems like a rip off of the EC Chakra model, but since that is now out, wait till this New Years Revolution, called EVERYCRAVE.

EveryCrave is open

Finally after fixing a few bugs and revamping the design a little bit (and creating opportunities for more bugs by adding some features!!) , people can register on EveryCrave again. It is still on a free host for now as we are to settle on a host(...and that its cheaper of course!!).
:PThe first few kiosks will be completely free for people to sign up, since we still haven't completely packaged it, due to certain legal ends being wound up regarding the vat or service tax component applicable. And we also have some freebies for the first few "real" contributors, even when it is in the testing stage.

The Kiosk Lemon law Explained!

I received a few mails from users who didnt understand what the LEMON LAW in the previous post meant.
SO let me clarify that.
The fact is that a lemon law is a simple law in US for stuff that do not meet certain quality requirements(Initially for cars).
Since EC is not a place for kiosk owners to throw in garbage, and try and make a SOCIAL NETWORKING site out of EveryCrave, the EC Stats app helps in trying to keep a check on the CONTENT OF THE KIOSK.

This is important from a POV that kiosk owners and visitors alike should be able to get value for their time on other peoples kiosks, and not have to filter through sand to find a few bits of gold.

EveryCrave SS Kiosk Basics

The current kiosk that is out, the EveryCrave Small Step kiosk, is a very easy to use PAN(Personal Affiliate Network) interface. SOme basic fields help you in getting more activity immediately. These would be the LOGO( which has a small size limit), the Mini Info and your kiosk information.
These details allow users to immediately "LEMON LAW" your kiosk, knowing what you do and what are your interests, and whether they want to affiliate with your kiosk or not.

A gamer asked me a week back,and i got a similar mail from another user, saying "YOU NEED A MANUAL FOR YOUR WEBSITE?!! YES YOU DO! At least till you get similar with the Interface, and the manual iteslf will be an ever evolving document, with more and more services and apps coming in.

A personal scheduler

A new way of looking at your online life. That is a pretty cool gadget to have, aint it??
The EC mantra is a pluggin to help you figure out an "action plan". Here, each of the letters, for eg. M for "Mains", A for asumptions, N for needs and so on, are a set of input parameters. Then after a few steps, you generate a "Action Plan". Cool eh!

What is a Domain on EC

A Domian is a congregation of kiosks that is largely based on "profession" .There are a few domains starting out, and some of them are also for people like me, who like to belong to no particular domain as such, so thats good.

A peek at tomorrow

Tomorrow, being the 20th of November, is D-day at Dramira. The 'beta' version of EveryCrave will be out, available to a select audience. Here, the selected audience will not only get the kiosks, be it the small step, or the Basic, free and at a nominal cost initially respectively, but also will have a chance to win some awesome freebies, during the testing stage.

The Small step kiosk has a set of 6 EC appliances(read, applications), and the Basic has some more, apart from 2 different ways of viewing the world, being the provider and the consumer views respectively.More on these some time later.
Is this a social network engine?NO. Is this a search? NO. Is this a business network? NO. Is this a virtual reality site? NO
So what is it? In short, it is an online movement.
They say the end justifies the means, but where there is no end, no justification is needed i guess!
